ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Anissa Meddeb is the designer behind ANISSA AIDA, a fashion line that explores the intersection of North African culture and Eastern aesthetics. Raised in Paris and Tunisia and educated at Parsons, Anissa honed her craft at iconic brands like A.P.C., Marc Jacobs, and Outdoor Voices.
After founding her label in 2016 and presenting at fashion weeks in Paris, London, Berlin and Harbin, China, she was quickly dubbed “one to watch” by Fashion Scout London. She counts Jason Wu as a mentor, and has collected prestigious awards from the NY Fashion Institute of Technology and Maison Mode Méditerranée in Marseille, France.

ABOUT SOUKRA
Founder Pauline Eveillard launched SOUKRA to shed a spotlight on Tunisian entrepreneurs and their creations, and as a platform for Tunisia’s creative voices. Many of the designers SOUKRA carries work closely with artisan communities across Tunisia and launched their businesses following the Arab Spring in 2011.
