Soukra founder, Pauline, has been traveling to Tunisia for over 15 years where she’s cemented lifelong friendships and cultivated deep connections with the country. She first lived in Tunis on a Fulbright fellowship in 2005–2006 and has returned to the country regularly ever since for work and travel. She has ventured to all corners of the country, from Tabarka in Northwest Tunisia and the southern city of Douz, aka “The Gateway to the Sahara,” to the major coastal cities of Tunis, Sousse and Sfax.
