Michelle Hernández, Le Dix-Sept
Le Dix-Sept is a botanically inspired pastry and confection company based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2011 by Bay Area native Michelle Hernández, who after a successful career in digital marketing, moved to Paris to pursue Le Grande Diplôme at Le Cordon Bleu. She stayed in the City of Lights after graduating to train and work at Michelin-starred restaurants.
Fourteen years into building the business, Hernández has a Mission District location (3376 18th Street) and newly opened Potrero Hill flagship store (455 Carolina Street). She continues to apply the technical skills she acquired in Paris to create unique pastries that showcase her passion for art and design while incorporating her love of flowers, herbs, teas, honey, and cacao. Le Dix-Sept’s signature products include artisan Cannelés, Nougat, and bespoke celebration Cakes.

Pauline Eveillard, Soukra
Pauline Eveillard is a mission-driven entrepreneur dedicated to celebrating Tunisia’s craftsmanship and cultural heritage. With a background in art history (B.A.,Tufts University), a Fulbright fellowship to Tunisia (2005-2006), and an M.A. in Humanities from the University of Chicago, she brings deep cultural insight to her work.
She is the founder of Soukra, a platform that showcases Tunisian designers through highly curated collections of home décor, fashion, specialty food, and nourishing skincare. Through Soukra.co, wholesale partnerships, curated in-person events, custom projects, and behind-the-scenes collaborations, Pauline aims to embed contemporary Tunisian design into the broader design and lifestyle landscape.
In her efforts to spotlight Tunisian creativity, she closely follows the work of galleries, artists, curators, specialists, and collectors who are actively raising awareness of North Africa’s vibrant art scenes.
