Inspired by local Tunisian craftsmanship and the career of Mette and Rolf Hay (founders of design brand Hay), La Marsa-based Marlo and Isaure Guerry founded design studio Marlo & Isaure.
How did you two meet?
We met as students at ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne) in Switzerland, which is often cited among the world’s top 10 art and design schools.

We are inspired by materials and the process of making. Here, everything is possible, which allows us to start exciting projects.

What is Supersouk?
Supersouk is a local concept store we opened, which promotes the Tunisian creative scene by bringing together furniture, fashion and more in a unique shopping space.

Where is your favorite place to vacation or visit within Tunisia?
We normally go to the beaches in the north, but we recently rediscovered Nefta in the south of Tunisia and it was so beautiful.
What bars and shops do you live in Tunisia?
We enjoy Club Gingembre and Habibi in Gammarth for a drink. And Zina store in La Marsa for beautiful home decor.
