What is your design ethos?
Pragmatic, simple and efficient.
What is your design process?
Find an idea, model it, study its technical side and find solutions (flow, resistance…), materialize in 3D, and design it in the workshop.
Who is the on the team?
The team consists of five people. Three who work on the manufacturing of brass, steel and marble, an assistant, and myself. ☺
What positive impact do you have in shaping Tunisia?
A return to the basics, encouraging the growth of the local economy by consuming differently.
What does Tunisia mean to you?
My breath of life! I have lived abroad for a long time, but like a magnet, Tunisia continues to draw me back to her.
Where is place you like to vacation in Tunisia?
The Tunisian desert, Douz, Timbaine, Ksar Ghilane…beauty in its raw state, not to mention the meteor showers that flood the sky.
What restaurants do you like to frequent?
We eat very well at Fondouk el Attarine and the setting is fabulous. I find that the rooftop at Dar El Jeld embodies the rebirth of the medina of Tunis.
What is one thing every visitor to Tunisia should experience?
The medina of Tunis, off the beaten path.
Who is a Tunisian you admire?
Azzedine Alaïa.
What do you with the world knew about Tunisia?
Its great diversity makes it unique!
