Blush Pink Tunisian Chechia
The traditional hat of Tunisia, the chechia is a small felt cap, but really, it's much more. It is the work of thousands of artisans who have preserved the craft for generations—importing wool, crocheting it into a simple shape, then felting, brushing, dyeing, and baking it until it emerges as a graceful, sculptural cap.
Handmade by master artisan Mohamed Ali Troudi, each blush pink chechia takes four months to create. Its soft color offers a contemporary interpretation of one of Tunisia's most enduring traditions, pairing as effortlessly with a summer dress as it does with tailored separates.
Place it on your head and you're wearing years of craftsmanship, heritage, and savoir-faire.
