ANISSA AIDA
Djerbian linen blouse in aqua blue
Anissa Aida’s Djerbian Blouse is a contemporary homage to the traditional men’s workwear cloak worn on the island of Djerba in southern Tunisia. Reimagined in a shorter, tunic-style silhouette, this piece blends heritage craftsmanship with modern ease.
Cut from airy linen haïk, a natural fabric traditionally used in North African dress, the blouse drapes softly while maintaining architectural structure. It features a rounded collar, piped detailing at the neckline and shoulders, and square gussets under the armholes for added comfort and movement. Long sleeves are finished with elegant knife pleats at the cuffs. Two large rounded side pockets offer everyday utility, while a hidden interior pocket on the left side adds a subtle, functional surprise. Rendered in a luminous aqua blue, this blouse brings a fresh, coastal tone to a timeless form.
