Hand-harvested at peak ripeness, Baklouti peppers—naturally low in seeds—are sun-dried for nearly a week before being crushed into jewel-like flakes. This centuries-old Amazigh tradition captures the vibrant, spicy character that defines many Tunisian dishes.
The flakes add depth to couscous, stews, and any dish started with olive oil. Beyond the traditional table, they bring warmth and refinement to eggs, roasted vegetables, or even a simple sandwich.
