Artisans Solidaires Kasserine
Handwoven Halfa Grass Kilim Rug in Yellow
Handwoven from locally sourced halfa grass, also known as esparto, this golden yellow rug brings warmth, texture, and natural beauty to contemporary interiors. Crafted by the Artisans Solidaires Kasserine collective in western Tunisia, it reflects generations of weaving knowledge passed down through artisan communities.
Naturally dyed using plant-based colorants such as turmeric, the fibers are woven on a hand-operated loom to create a durable flat-weave rug with a subtle, organic texture. Available in 2' x 3' and 3' x 5' sizes, the rug works beautifully in entryways, beside a bed, under a coffee table, or layered into larger spaces.
Lightweight, durable, and crafted entirely by hand, this rug celebrates Tunisia's longstanding tradition of working with natural fibers while embracing a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
