Raised in Paris and Tunisia, designer Anissa Meddeb creates clothing and accessories inspired by Tunisia’s heritage. She explores traditional garments worn in North Africa and the Levant, and looks further to the sartorial traditions of China, Japan and Korea. Launching her debut collection in 2016, Meddeb’s looks invoke classic Arab silhouettes with an architectural edge. In 2018, Anissa was selected for the Design Entrepreneur Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and won the Open My Med Prize of Maison Mode Méditerranée in Marseille, France.
