Kirigami knit top in black
The Kirigami Knit Top by Anissa Aida transforms the classic black top through an asymmetric V-neckline and cutout sleeves. Laser-cut fabric creates a graphic interplay of shape and negative space, giving the fitted silhouette a distinctive edge.
The design draws inspiration from two decorative traditions: Japanese kirigami, the art of folding and cutting paper, and Jneh Khotifa, a geometric motif found in traditional Tunisian ceramic tiles. Anissa Aida brings these references together in a contemporary exploration of pattern and form.
Designed and made in Tunisia, the Kirigami transitions easily from day to evening.

Easy returns
Raised in Paris and Tunisia, designer Anissa Meddeb creates clothing and accessories inspired by Tunisia’s heritage. She explores traditional garments worn in North Africa and the Levant, and looks further to the sartorial traditions of China, Japan and Korea. Launching her debut collection in 2016, Meddeb’s looks invoke classic Arab silhouettes with an architectural edge. In 2018, Anissa was selected for the Design Entrepreneur Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and won the Open My Med Prize of Maison Mode Méditerranée in Marseille, France.
