Ichkeul Bird Terracotta Vessel
Handcrafted in northern Tunisia, this sculptural terracotta vessel is crowned by three songbirds inspired by the migratory species that gather each year at Lake Ichkeul, one of the Mediterranean's most important wetlands.
Created in collaboration with artisan potters whose ceramic traditions have been passed from mother to daughter for generations, each piece is shaped and finished entirely by hand. The vessel's softly tapered form and matte white surface highlight the expressive birds perched along its rim, creating a striking balance between sculpture and functional design.
Whether displayed on a console, dining table, or bookshelf, this one-of-a-kind piece brings together contemporary design and Tunisia's rich ceramic heritage.
