JK Lighting

Trained in architecture and interior design, Hassene Jeljeli launched JK Lighting to create contemporary lighting objects using manual and industrial techniques. He was introduced to designs and materials at a young age as the son of an engineer and self-taught designer. After graduating from Tunisia’s National School for Architecture and Urbanism (ENAU) in 2017, he trained at the BASEhabitat program at the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria, working in socially responsible and sustainable projects. Since returning to Tunisia, he’s been the winner of the Tunisia Design Week Award in 2019, 2020 and 2022 for his luminous works.
